The Smarttention Launcher adapts over time by using machine learning technology. For every application start the user context, e.g., location, light conditions, is observed and recorded. This information is then used to adapt the order of applications, so that the most likely used applications appear first, which in return allows a faster access. The Smarttention Launcher serves as prototype for an underlying smart infrastructure, which I am developing.
